Coach Loren Trottmann, BS, CPT, CSCS, SPT

I first found my love of training through trying to solve my own problems—I was a very average athlete, consistently getting injured and failing to express the performance I knew I was capable of. When I discovered that with the right training principles, coupled with appropriate recovery and nutrition, I could begin to address these challenges for myself, I was hooked. I wanted to learn as much as I could about maximizing human performance.

I was hungry to learn as much as possible, and quickly dove into pursuing as many resources as I could find. As I learned more and made improvements myself, I wanted to share the technical knowledge and experience I’d accrued with others. I got my start working as a trainer at a sports performance gym in Southern Oregon, where I gained knowledge and experience and eventually moved into a head trainer role.

Since then, I’ve worked as a strength and conditioning coach in a variety of performance training settings, serving athletes of all levels across a diverse range of sports, as well as working extensively with general population folks who are simply training for life. I’m a firm believer in the idea that every human is an athlete, we all just have different challenges we’re preparing for.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with an assortment of outstanding clients, and couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to do what I love. Throughout the years, I’ve also had the opportunity to collaborate with first-class physical therapists and rehab professionals, and have gained an intimate understanding of the symbiotic relationship between post-injury rehabilitation and strength training.

Currently, I’m a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, and a 2nd-Year Doctor of Physical Therapy student at Oregon State University-Cascades in Bend, OR.

Couldn’t be more excited help you reach your goals. Cheers,

Loren Trottmann
